So, its been awhile since I last posted a message, and I'm sorry for that. It's been very busy these past two months. So here is a quick update on things that happend in November and December. Well in November I had Thanksgving with a few of girlfriends at my friends apartment in Hwacheon. Hwacheon is very north of South Korea, and very close to North Korea. It's really cold, they get a ton of snow, but the scenary is beautiful. We had nice dinner in whch we made Chicken ( there was no where to fine Turkey) and a ton of other trimmings and sat down and ate a nice meal. I spent most of November in fog, just studying hard for my Lsat, which I took in December. I took it December 3rd, on a Sunday, and it was nauseating. I was extremely nervous, but I am that they are over with, I do not have the scores yet, but I am in the process of applying to Law School. Let me just say this, applying to law school overseas is a BITCH!!!!!!!
Well enough about November and December! Now its January. YAY, it will be five monthst that I have been here in Korea, and I cannot believe how the time has flyed. I have been a little homesick, because of the holidays that just past, but I am sure I will be ok because I am going to Thailand in two days for a much needed two week vacation. All I plan on doing is lying on the beach drinking margaritas, riding an Elephant( which I won't leave Thailand without doing) and going snorkeling. I will be going with three of friends here, Helen , Julia, and Jing, so we look forward towards this new adventure.
Also since school has been on winter vacation, I come to school still to teach a four hour English Winter Camp . I only have four students in the program, but its alot of fun. I have no co-teacher to help translate things, but with my very little Korean, and the students high beginners level of English we are able to understand each other pretty well. Our recent class project was to make a short movie clip. It was alot of fun making it . It is only a two min long clip but it took us two day to make. The only thing I did was the filming. The students edited the video and chose the songs for the video, of course with my help. Lol. Its really cute. The students got to choose a English topic that we had studied , and they chose " Where are you from", so each student representes a different country, except for one student who is an alien. We did it in Korean and English. It's really cute and funny !! I hope you enjoy it.
I promise I will post again with my updated trip from Thailand. THANKS FOR READING!!!
